End Systems are preparing to start work at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) redevelopment at their Stanmore site for TClarke. The new inpatient facility will provide 91 beds with 50% being single rooms to enhance patient privacy and reduce infection.

RNOH is an excellent scheme to add to our portfolio as we steadily increase the number of large scale projects we are procuring whilst also growing our presence in the healthcare sector.

Due to the increase of larger projects we now employ over 40 Commissioning Staff consisting of Commissioning Managers, Engineers and Assistants. Our nationally deployed team services all areas of the UK including London where the RNOH redevelopment is situated.

Our Commissioning Site Supervisor, Daryl Hughes, will adopt the experience and lessons learned on recent major hospital projects to deliver a scope of works including commissioning and testing of mechanical systems including isolation room ventilation, water treatment services including post flushing sampling up to practical completion in accordance with BSRIA BG29:2012 table 11 and DOP testing of HEPA filters.

Earlier in the year we were delighted to be awarded the contract to carry out a range of Commissioning activities at Farringdon Station in London for NG Bailey.

As part of the redevelopment of this important Crossrail station, two new tickets offices are being built to provide step free access to the new platforms, 25m below street level.

End Systems are always keen to work on a wide variety of projects and we are excited to work on complex and challenging schemes like Farringdon.

We are pleased to continue our relationship with NG Bailey and to add another significant project to our portfolio, which has allowed us to employ additional engineers and apprentices to our ever-growing commissioning team.

The new facility, due to open in 2018, will see up to 750 patients a year use the new unit therefore reducing the number of patients having to travel aboard.

Our complete turnkey service offering on this prestigious project also includes a pioneering deployment of our latest software development, EndBim. EndBim enables critical data held in the O&M Manual to be accessed via objects within the Building Information Model.
