End Systems are pleased to announce that following on from the successful completion of the award-winning National Graphene Institute at The University of Manchester, we have been awarded the contract for the University’s new centre – the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre (GEIC).
The £60m project will be one of the University’s world class centres providing cutting-edge research to accelerate the commercialisation of graphene and two-dimensional materials throughout many industrial sectors and support Manchester in becoming a world leader advanced materials innovation.
The GEIC will fill a critical gap in the ecosystem for graphene and 2D materials research, development and application in the UK. The University’s second world-class multi-million pound graphene-focused centre will see industry-led development in applications through partnership with academics.
End Systems are delighted to add GEIC to the portfolio of works carried out for the University of Manchester whilst continuing our successful relationship with Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick.
The team look forward to once again demonstrating the range of services we will provide to such a prestigious project, including Commissioning Management, HVAC Commissioning and Testing, Water Treatment, Preparation of Operating & Maintenance Manuals and Client Video Training.
