End Systems – 2019 – We Rebranded!!!

After months of hard work, and two weeks worth of hints, we can finally reveal that we have rebranded!

This brings us into the modern era and not only changes the look of this great company but also brings about a new culture and re-energised team!

We are End Systems, this is our future, join us on the journey!

End Systems – 2018 – A New Beginning… A Fresh Vision…

In our final post before tomorrow’s big reveal, we’re celebrating new ownership and a new MD in Kay Corlett!

Having started with the business in 1984 as a young fledgling making brews, collecting post and doing the banking, Kay progressed within the accounts department to Company Secretary, then to Financial Director and finally realising her dream by becoming MD and owner in 2018.

Having taken over the reins of an already successful business, Kay has instilled her own vision over the past year, with changes across the board to ensure the business continues to grow and maintains that growth into a bright future!

Keep an eye out tomorrow for some more exciting changes and the last stop on our historical tour! We can’t wait!

End Systems – 2017 – EndBim Goes Live!

At End Systems we’re all about innovation and making sure our clients receive the best service, and best tools possible to make their lives that little bit easier… So in 2017 we launched Endbim!

EndBim is a simple effective tool that enables end users to navigate their final Building Information Model and find Operating & Maintenance Information on objects they select.

We’ll let the video do the rest of our talking… which can be found at www.endbim.co.uk by clicking the ‘Demo’ tab.

Not long until Friday!!!!!

End Systems – 2016 – We Hit 40!

In the same year that Andy Murray won Wimbledon, Major Tim Peake completed his ISS mission in space and the Queen celebrated her 90th Birthday… We celebrated our 40th Birthday!

We celebrated our 40 years in business by throwing a party at Alberts – Worsley, where the Pornstar Martini ruled the bar, and we had Robbie Williams (not quite the real one) entertaining the team!

It’s an absolute testament to the team past and present that we celebrated this milestone, and as we are now in our 43rd year, the 50 year milestone is firmly in our sights!

Tomorrow we’ll share another of our innovation, so keep an eye out on your news feed… we’re getting closer and closer to our big reveal on Friday… The countdown is on!

End Systems – 2012 – A New Innovation

In 2012 we launched our online collaboration portal EndDocs. We looked at the solutions we could offer in regards to documentation management and found that whilst our offerings were top notch, we could go even further!

EndDocs is a tool that revolutionises the way your business can manage its documentation and drawings. Making it simple to share your documents online, with anyone you’d like! We’re really proud that EndDocs is still thriving today, hosting more than 600 projects, close to 5000 users and 269 clients…

This week we’re leading up to our big reveal on Friday, so keep a track of the End Systems LinkedIn page and website for more updates!

End Systems – 2006 – We’re 30!

In the same year that Twitter launched, Google bought YouTube for $1.65 Billion and Daniel Craig debuted as 007…. End Systems threw a Hollywood themed party at the then Reebok Stadium to celebrate 30 Years of business!

By all accounts the night was filled with enough fun and frolics to keep the team reminiscing for weeks, with the evening consisting of dancing, romancing and some singing waiters!

At 30 we had already achieved so much, and had been in situ at Redwater House for 6 years by then….. Keep your eyes peeled all next week as we will be taking our history tour to its final destination…

End Systems Moving On Up in the Year 2000!

The next update on our historical tour is one of office moves! From our very first office at Market Arcade, we then moved to Alder House, Leigh in 1986, an old mill steeped in history and with enough room to accommodate our ever growing team!

Whist at Alder House, End Systems continued to grow as a company, so much so that we ended up installing temporary portable cabins in the car park to house our newly acquired draughtsmen to trace out as-built drawings…. yes that did happen pre computers!

The whole End Systems team continued to strive and grow, and in the year 2000 it was time to move again…… this time upscaling again to occupy Redwater House and Brunswick House, just a 5 minute drive from Alder House.

We still occupy both of these buildings today, with the team continuing to grow and develop year on year!

Tomorrow we’ll celebrate another milestone for End Systems, keep your eyes peeled!

End Systems – 1999 – IIP Accreditation

In the same year that everyone was fretting about the Millennium Bug, the Euro was introduced as currency and ‘Posh & Becks’ became Mr & Mrs… End Systems became a member of Investors In People (IIP).

This represented a major change in the culture at End Systems, and further enhanced our status as a recognised leader in our industry. Headed up by Barry Briers and Kay Corlett, we continue to be members to this day, with the cultures and practices embedded in our business processes.

To find out more about our history and keep up to date with our latest news, keep an eye out every day this week and next week!

End Systems Turns 20!

Ever since its incorporation in 1976, End Systems achieved milestone after milestone, and grew from strength to strength, so much so that in 1996, on 19th May, we celebrated 20 Years of business!

In that same year The Spice Girls were promoting Girl Power, Oasis and Blur were at the height of their ‘Brit Pop War’, VHS would soon be a thing of the past and Dolly The Sheep was the first mammal to be successfully cloned!

In End Systems world, we had new starters such as Stuart Kelly, who is now our longest serving Commissioning Manager.

Ian Lysons, Kay Corlett, Clair Hilton, Andrew Boardman and Phil Spencer all clocked over 10 Years’ service! All of which we might add are now in the 30 Years+ Service club….

End Systems & The CSA

Week two of our look back into our history starts with our long standing relationship with the Commissioning Specialists Association (CSA).

We’re proud to state that we’ve been member of the association ever since its inception in 1990, and have used its grading structure as the backbone of our training program ever since.

Over the years we have won countless CSA awards, and have enjoyed success at each CSA Grade level, all the way up to the much coveted Grade 6.

The next stop on our End Systems history tour will celebrate a big milestone for us! Keep a look out tomorrow……….

End Systems – Introduction to the HVCA

After our start in 1976, End Systems went from strength to strength, building a solid reputation within the industry as we progressed.

In 1980 it was time to establish ourselves even further by becoming members of the Heating & Ventilating Contractors Association (HVCA), now known as the Building Engineering Services Association (BESA).

Ever since our membership began, we have been intrinsically linked with the association. Our former Managing Director Brian Townsend became president in 2003/2004, with our current MD Kay Corlett being a valued member of the associations staff standing committee up until very recently!

We’re immensely proud of our continued relationship with BESA, and value being a part of its prestigious history.

Keep an eye out next week for more insights into End Systems!

End Systems – A Journey Through Time

Over the next couple of weeks keep your eyes peeled for some exciting developments in the End Systems camp!

We’ll be releasing a series of articles looking back at our rich history, right up to present day…..

End Systems was incorporated on 19th May 1976, and originally consisted of 3 team members, inclusive of our founder Brian Townsend. We look back fondly on our beginnings at Market Arcade in Leigh, and often regale with stories of how it all started!

The picture in this post shows the location of our first offices at Market Arcade, keep an eye out for more snippets of End Systems through the years…..
