#NAW21 With Nick Boardman

Today we’re sharing our interview with one of our Commissioning Supervisors, Nick Boardman.

Nick joined us in July 2010, just completing his 10 year anniversary with us last year!

Nick is a much valued member of our Commissioning Team and has progressed through the company via college qualifications, and the Commissioning Specialist Association grading structure, plus hands on experience.

He really flies the flag for us wherever he may be!

Today we’re sharing our interview with one of our Assistant Commissioning Engineers, Daniel Murray.

Dan joined us in November 2019, fresh out of the Navy and straight into our Commissioning Team. Dan has gone from strength to strength during his time with us so far, going that extra mile to ensure he learns as much as possible to help his development.

Dylan joined us in January 2020 within our Documentation Team! Its been a joy to see Dylan progress throughout his first year, and we’re excited to see what the rest of his career with us brings!

As part of National Apprenticeship Week 2021, we interviewed our very own Jonathan Hunt about his time so far at End Systems and what he thinks about apprenticeships!

Jonny joined us in September 2018, and has since become an invaluable member of the team, proving that apprenticeships are a great starting point for any budding engineer!

Time to Change, a charity initiative that’s led by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness are promoting Time to Talk Day today, and as a company, we’d like to support it too.

Time to Talk Day is a day to get the nation talking about mental health. Through the last year, and throughout this year its more important than ever to have open conversations about mental health, and look to end the mental health stigma.

So today, take the time to ask if someone’s ok, call a loved one, or simply take some time for yourself to reflect on how you’re feeling.

Today, our Commercial Director, Phil Spencer celebrates 40 Years with the business!

Project Win!🏢 ✅

End Systems are delighted to be appointed by SES Engineering Services to carry out the Commissioning Management and O&M Manuals at Sandwell Aquatics, a £73 Million leisure centre situated in Smethwick.

This facility will create a legacy for community health and wellbeing with its 50m Olympic-sized swimming pool as well as a 25m diving pool, community swimming pool and seats for up to 1,000 spectators.

This development will accommodate everyone, with an Indoor Cycling Studio, a 180-station gym and many more facilities.

We recently took delivery of a fish tank and some freshwater tropical fish, with each of our teams naming some of the fish too!

Rightly or wrongly, we have even named two of the fish Salt & Vinegar….

End Systems are pleased to announce that we have been selected by Ameon Limited to commence works on a large Historic project based in Liverpool.

The project is a large commercial office building which has a 350,000 sq.ft commercial space that will include complex remedial work, façade repairs and cleaning, as well as renewal of more than 50% of office space.

End Systems will be carrying out the Commissioning & Testing and the Water Treatment on this exclusive project.

This week we’ve been filming some of our internal training sessions with our Assistant Commissioning Engineer Dan Murray in front of the camera doing the presenting!

Dan has been running through our extensive list of commissioning equipment, explaining the ins and outs of setting it up, and how we use it on site.
