One of our valued clients recently carried out a cost saving analysis and based on our team coming in and validating their existing systems and producing a recommendations report. Part of the issue was years of minor tweaks to the system resulting in inefficient air flows, and driving the fans harder to achieve the desired air change rates in the facility. We optimally re-commissioned the existing HVAC ventilation systems back to the original design intent, whilst maintaining safe air change rates and the results are amazing!
Following the re-balancing works we were able to reduce their variable frequency drive inverters driving their fan motors, thus reducing the energy consumption and saving a small fortune. We made multiple areas of the facility much more energy efficient and the existing systems performance increase were able to offer savings of between 10% and 15% on energy usage, a remarkable cost saving in real monetary terms and an incredible reduction carbon emissions.
