This week, we’ve had Xander Kenyon from Canon Slade High School join us for his work experience.
He started the week with our Accounts team, gaining valuable insight into how we manage our fleet vehicles and the importance of ongoing maintenance. It gave him a great understanding of the operational side of the business and everything that happens behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly.
He then spent time with our Survey Department, where he got involved with some 2D CAD work – something he picked up quickly and really enjoyed. It was great to see his enthusiasm and willingness to learn new skills in a completely different area.
To round off the week, he joined our Estimating, Commercial & Business Development teams, learning about the journey from initial enquiry through to order stage, along with an introduction to KAM, reporting, and social media. This gave him a well-rounded view of how projects develop from first contact through to delivery.
It’s been a pleasure having him with us this week. He approached every task with maturity, professionalism, and a positive attitude, making a great impression on everyone he worked with.
He also managed to squeeze in some downtime chatting football with the lads, always a popular topic here at End Systems!
