In May 2013 we reported our efforts to support local youth in sport.

One of our chosen benefactors were Astley & Tyldesley JFC who play there football in the A Section of the local district league.

In a February fixture, the team played an away game at Darwen Vale High School in Darwen.

Darwen Vale was one of End Systems key projects in 2013 where we helped deliver both O&M Manuals and Commissioning & Testing Services.

As we are all too aware, decent sporting facilities for youngsters are few and far between, but the excellent facilities at Darwen Vale, with their state of the art 3G pitches ensure that winter fixtures, which all too often fall prey to the bad weather, are able to be staged.

Steve Kelly, End Systems Documentation Manager, who’s son plays for Astley & Tyldesley commented ;

“It’s fantastic to be involved in a project professionally only to see the real benefits these projects bring to the wider community,

Darwen Vale is an excellent facility and we hope to return next season“

The team went on to win 4-1 to keep their hope alive for a top 4 finish !
